IVR Sweden is the Swedish section of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR). With affiliated researchers from Lund in the south to Luleå in the north, its purpose is to further scientific exchange and cooperation within the philosophy of law and social philosophy in accordance with fundamental scientific principles of openness, conciseness and clarity. The association is open to individuals from all scholarly disciplines. Each year it organizes a national conference in the philosophy of law, and in 2003 it hosted the 21st IVR World Congress. The current President of IVR Sweden is Minna Gräns, professor of jurisprudence at Uppsala University.
