The conference Human World: Normative Dimension – 3: Rationality and Legitimacy will be organized and hosted by the Department of Philosophy at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Saratov State Law Academy”.
This conference is the third in a series of regular conferences, the main aim of which is to bring together philosophers and legal philosophers who are interested in the problem of normativity.
The aim of the third conference is research in the connections between rationality and legitimacy in normative systems of knowledge, social institutes and behaviour in different areas: morals, law and policy. Crisis of legitimacy marked by experts is discerned today in different spheres. It seems that the overcoming of crisis of legitimacy of traditional institutions, forms of activity and discourse are connected with the search for anew meaning of the concept of rationality.
