The 14th National Congress of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy was held in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia, 11–13 May 2016. The event was organized by Universidad del Atlántico (UA) and the Colombian Association of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (ASOFIDES). During the Congress, the Assembly of the Colombian Association of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (ASOFIDES) was held on 12 May 2016.
The new executive committee of ASOFIDES are:
President: Andres Botero
Vice President: Armando Gil Numas
Secretary: Javier Ferreira
Treasurer: Luis Ribón
Vocal: Maria Luisa Rodriguez
Communicator: Jaime Murillo
The principal task of this new Board will be the consolidation of the list of members of the Association for due registration with the IVR (World Association of Philosophy of Law).
Among the first decisions of the new Board was the decision to hold the 15th National Congress of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy at Universidad Nacional (Bogotá – Colombia) in the second semester of 2017.
